LeBLANC, JOSEPH ERNEST
It is with heavy hearts the family of Joseph Ernest LeBlanc wish to announce his passing on Saturday October 24, 2105 at Ridgewood Veteran’s Wing. Born in Randolf, West Saint John, Joe was a son of the late Edmund and Elizabeth (Williams) LeBlanc.
Joe lived his whole life in Randolf, a community in which he was very proud. He had a great sense of humor, was very kind and a great observer of people. He was a veteran of WWII, and spent his career in the housing construction industry, and was an amazing self taught Carpenter. He will be missed by his family and special niece Lynn, his friend’s at AJ’S, and his Saturday afternoon friends at #69 branch Legion listening to Donny and Delbert.
Joe is survived by his brother, Adrice LeBlanc, of Saint John, two sisters, Claire (Ken) Bond, of Edmonton, Alberta, Rita Mattison, of Mississauga, Ontario, and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, brothers, Arthur, George, and Lionel, sisters, Diana Gerrior, and Margaret Vitale, sister-in-law, Sarah Jean LeBlanc, brothers in law Temple Gerrior,and Cy Mattison.
Resting at Castle funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John, N.B. (634 1701). Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 27, 2015 from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to8 pm. A Mass of Christian burial will take place at St. Rose of Lima Church on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at 12 noon. Interment will take place at Holy Cross cemetery. A reception will be held at the Denis Morris Community center. A legion tribute will be held on Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at 7pm.
