Marg Kenny
WHITE HILL – Margaret Louise “Marg” Kenny, 79, White Hill, passed away Saturday, October 24, 2015 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow, surrounded by her family.
  Born in Stellarton, she was the daughter of the late George and Lillian (Munro) Austin.  In earlier years, she was employed with the former Steadmans, Clairtone and had been a hostess with the former Heather Motor Hotel and Peter Pan Motel. Prior to retirement, she was employed with Shady Oaks Rest Home. Marg enjoyed playing bingo, attending card parties and going to the camp at the lake where she loved to watch the hummingbirds. She was a “people person” who loved to spend time with family and friends.
  Surviving are her husband, Jerome Kenny; daughters, Karen O’Brien (Brent), White Hill; Kimberley Vienneau, Pictou; sons, Jerry (Beverly) Kenny and George Kenny, White Hill; grandchildren, Jason, Leah, Jenna, Mitchell and Robbie; great-grandchildren, Aiden, Owen and Kenzie; many Kenny family members.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by a brother in infancy.
The family will receive visitors 10 – 10:50 a.m. Wednesday in P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home Chapel, New Glasgow where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. with Rev. Dr. Glen Matheson officiating.
  The family wish to thank Lloyd and Jane Kenny for the care and attention shown to Marg as well as the Pictou County Victorian Order of Nurses.
