ROBERTS - Helen R., 87, of Liverpool, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 22, 2015 in Queens General Hospital, Liverpool surrounded by her family. Born in Liverpool, she was a daughter of the late William James and Helen Arlene (MacLeod) MacLeod. Helen will be fondly remembered by her family as an avid reader who loved to do puzzles, sewing and quilting and enjoyed bowling in her younger years. She is survived by her daughters Carol (Tom) Kift of Bridgewater, Joan France (David Spurr) of Coldbrook, Rose Roberts (Terry Price) of Brooklyn, Mary (Robert) Boland of Mersey Point, Annette (Andrew) Caldwell of Ottawa, ON; her sons George (June Wagner) of Liverpool, Lawrence (Audrey) of Brooklyn, William (Linda) of Beach Meadows, Sherman (Eleanor) of Gull Island; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren; her brothers Jack (Ellen) of Milton, Bruce (Judy) of New Brunswick. She was predeceased by her husband Arnold; daughter Debra; son Morris; granddaughters Hillary, Danielle, Sarah and Brenda Lee; grandson Troy; sister Mary; brothers Daniel, Robert and Morris. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. A private family graveside memorial service will be held at a later date.
