Douglas Chisholm
New Glasgow - Douglas Chisholm. On October 27, 2015, the night of the Hunter's Moon, Douglas George Chisholm, 64, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family.
Doug was a son of the late Eric and Helen (Millen) Chisholm of New Glasgow.
A machinist by trade, Doug worked 38 years at Michelin Tire Canada, retiring in April 2010.
He spent his retirement hunting, fishing and taking long Sunday drives. He also enjoyed spending time at "The Camp" with Marge and going on daily walks with his loyal and constant companion, Snickers.
Besides his wife, Margery (Harris) Chisholm, Doug is survived by sons, Michael (Doug Boudreau), Halifax and Glenn (Dana Baird), Surrey, BC, sister, Betty, New Glasgow, brothers, John, Georgetown, ON, and Elmer, New Glasgow, as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and of course Snickers.
At Doug's request there will be no visitation or funeral.
A small family gathering to celebrate his life will be held in the near future.
