With heavy hearts, we the family announce the sudden passing of Susan Roxanne Donovan, age 38, beloved daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and niece on Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2015 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Sydney Mines, she was the daughter of Harold Donovan of Sydney Mines and the late Lillian (Keigan) Donovan.
Susan loved spending time with her family, her husband and sons and her granddaughter and she especially enjoyed the fun and decorating for the Halloween season.
Besides her father Harold Donovan, she is survived by her common-law husband Troy Fudge; her three sons, Coady, Nicholas and Tristan; her granddaughter Aleah Ann; her two brothers, Bill (Amelia) Donovan, Little Pond, Kevin (Sheila) Donovan, Boisdale; her nieces and nephews, Billy, Erica, Kevin and Sophie and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was predeceased by her mother Lillian (Keigan) Donovan in June 2015 and her maternal grandparents Lillian and Ernie Keigan and paternal grandparents Margaret and Tim Donovan and a number of aunts and uncles.
There will be no visitation by request. A funeral mass for Susan will be celebrated 10 a.m. on Saturday at St. Joseph Church, North Sydney with Rev. Patrick O’Neill officiating. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Sydney.
Memorial donations may be made to the Nova Scotia Lung Association.
