The death occurred at the Palliative Care Unit, Community Hospital, O'Leary, on Sunday, Nov. 1, 2015, of Thelma Jean Dean of Knutsford, aged 60 years, spouse and companion of Lowell Ralph Hudson. Born in Saint John, N.B., on January 31, 1955, daughter of the late Thomas and Constance (Brennan) Dean. Dear mother to Kim (Stephen) MacPhail, Harrington; Katrina James, Knutsford; Amanda (Jonathan) Hyde, Cornwall; April Preston (Jason White), Annapolis Valley, N.S.; Harold Preston, Charlottetown; and stepmother to Carman Hudson, Vancouver; Lisa Hudson, Moncton, N.B.; and Morgan Hudson, O'Leary. Loving grandmother to Isaiah, BreeAnna, Jonah, Kyra, Kali, Taylor, Kate, Dominic and Jacob. Thelma is also survived by sisters and brothers Douglas (Sharon), St. Martins, N.B.; Donald (Janet), Daniel (Bessie), David (Sue), Richard "Allie" (Joyce), Stephen (Rita), Thomas (Pam), all of Saint John, N.B.; and Carol King, ON. Predeceased by her parents, brothers and sisters Linda, Deborah, William, Barb and Norma and stepson Travis Hudson.
