WOTHERSPOON: Donald James Wotherspoon of Swift Current, SK passed away peacefully with his family by his side at the Cypress Regional Hospital in Swift Current, SK on November 2, 2015 at the age of 74. He is survived by his Life Partner, Delores Trepanier, his son David (Leslie) Wotherspoon. His daughters, Tracey (Gord) Gray, Darcy (Harvey Stachowich) Wotherspoon and Jodi Wotherspoon. His grandchildren: Dylan, Sydney, Kelsey, Dallas, Dakota, Jessica, Cheyennne, Cody, Jamie and Cory. His great-grandchildren: Garryt, Emma, Hailee, Maci-Rae, Ireland, Verna Lynn, Serena and JayLynn. His brothers David Sr. (Eleanor) Wotherspoon, Leslie (Barbara) Wotherspoon, Robbie Wotherspoon, sister-in-law Gail Wotherspoon, as well as many family members, friends and neighbors. He is predeceased by his parents, David and Catherine Wotherspoon. Brother, John Wotherspoon and Grandparents James and Nellie Robbie. Donald was born on March 16, 1941 at the Swift Current Union Hospital and attended the Flats School. He was employed as a bus driver and truck driver. Don loved curling, hounds & coyotes, watching boxing and hockey. He had a passion for ranching, riding horses and team roping. The roping community will always remember Don as "Silver". He maintained and cherished his many close relationships with both relatives and friends; he enjoyed their company dearly. As per Don's request no funeral service will be held.
