The death occurred at the Palliative Care Unit, Community Hospital, O'Leary, on Thursday, November 5, 2015 of Bernice Arsenault of Howlan, aged 87 years, wife of the late Eusebe Arsenault.
Born in Duvar on December 2, 1927, daughter of the late Octave and Lena (Gallant) Pineau. Loving mother to Ronald (Theresa), Scarborough, ON; Diane (Lloyd) Buchanan, Summerside; Marlene (Frank) Smallman, Unionvale; Angela (Tony) Sharp, Dunblane; Phyllis (Lorne) Ramsay, Howlan; William (Debbie), Loyalist Road; Frank, Calgary, AB; Annette (Blair) Jones, Argyle Shore; David (Louise), Howlan; Joanne (Tim) MacKay, Argyle Shore; Debbie Sterns, Halifax; Paula (John) Gallant, Mill Road; Michelle Calder, Bonshaw and Karen (Gordie) Dover, Argyle Shore. Dear grandmother to 38 grandchildren and 45 great-grandchildren. Bernice is also survived by sisters and brothers Junior (Arnolda) Pineau, St. Thomas, ON; Connie (Phyllis) Pineau, Charlottetown; Rose DesRoches, Summerside and Aldona (Eugene) Milligan, Foxley River.
Predeceased by her parents, husband, son-in-law Barry Calder, brothers and sisters Bertha, Alex Pineau, Ernest Pineau, Albert Pineau, Edna Coughlin, Helen Peters and Sylvia MacLean.
Resting at Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O'Leary, with visiting hours on Sunday, November 8, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and until Monday at 10 a.m., then to St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church for funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery.
