Legge, Warren John, 59, of Truro, passed away peacefully at home, in the arms of his sister, on Wednesday, November 4, 2015. Born in Truro, August 9, 1956, he was a son of the late Keith and Thelma (Aker) Legge. Warren is survived by daughter, Lacey Elliott, and her husband, Adam; son, Keith Legge, and his mother, Mona (McGill) Legge; sister, Carole Phee (Howard); brother, Donnie Legge (Susan), and their children, Pat, Levi, Mackie, Zoe, and families; grandchildren, Jayden and Emma; many dear friends and business associates. He was predeceased by loving parents Keith and Thelma. Warren was a graduate of CEC and Acadia University. He spent his working life at A. J. Walker and Sons as Treasurer and then President/Owner. His hobbies included golf, bridge, and watching movies and all sports events. He was a member of the Truro Golf Club, where he was also on the executive. He was a warm, caring person who valued his family and friends. He helped many people over the years both personally and as a well-respected business man. Known for his winning smile, and was also a devoted grandfather – his grandchildren were very special to him. A celebration of Warren’s life will be held on Sunday, November 8, at the Truro Golf Club, 86 Golf Street, Truro, between the hours of 1 – 5 pm, (all welcome). Family flowers only.
