Eunice MacDonald
Eunice Marguerite MacDonald, age 88, of Valley View Villa, formerly of Emmanuel Street, New Glasgow passed away November 4, 2015 in the Villa.
Born in New Glasgow, she was a daughter of the late William B. and Mary Bridget (McCarron) MacDonald.
Eunice was a Sister of Charity for many years, working in Boston and Halifax. She later returned to Lourdes and taught school in New Glasgow. She was an active member of Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church.
She is survived by her sister Rita, Valley View Villa; brother Edward, Ottawa; many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her siblings Mary Frances, Alexander (“Sandy”), Kathleen, Ian, Leo and Donald.
Visitation will be from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Friday, November 13, 2015 in the H.C. MacQuarrie Funeral Chapel, Stellarton. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 14 in Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
