RUSSELL, BARBARA ANN
The passing of Barbara “Barb” Ann (Slater) Russell of Taymouth, NB, wife of John Russell, occurred on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on August 11, 1950 in Moncton, NB, she was the daughter of George and Letitia (Jardine) Slater.
Barb was affiliated with Taymouth United Church. She was employed with Atlantic Building Contractors. In her spare time she enjoyed reading and doing crafts.
In addition to her husband and parents, Barb is survived by her sons, Jeff Russell of Taymouth, NB and Roderick Russell (April Phillips) of Beaverdam, NB; sister, Deborah Sherwood (Rick) of Moncton, NB; several nieces and nephews.
Barb was predeceased by her brothers, Bill and Glen Slater.
Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Friday, November 13, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Memorial Service will take place from York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Saturday, November 14, 2015 at 11 am with Rev. Dr. Yvette Swan officiating. Interment will take place in Taymouth Community Cemetery.
