Hamilton, Theresa Jane “Tessie”, 86 – Hilden

It is with very sad hearts, that the family of Tessie had to say goodbye for the last time on November 7, 2015 in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Campbellton, N.B., she was the daughter of the late Ferdinand and Annie (DeAurion) Belliveau. Tessie was employed at Stanfields and Crossley Carpets for many years. She enjoyed a full and well lived life. Tessie spent many hours hunting, fishing, 4-wheeling and camping and truly enjoyed the outdoors. She cherished her family and the time that she had spent with them. Tessie is survived by daughter, Linda Jane (Stu) Hardy; granddaughter, Nancy Phillips; grandson, Robert Phillips; great-granddaughters, Cynara and Skye Phillips; great-grandson, Cameron Phillips; sisters, Elizabeth Robinson, Patsy (Don) Gallagher; brother, Charles Belliveau; numerous God children, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sisters, Donna MaCrae, Lena Fogarty, May Matheson; brothers, Fabian Belliveau, Gideon Belliveau; former husband, Hector Hamilton. Special thanks are extended to the staff of the Palliative Care Unit and the Colchester East Hants Hospice Society for their kindness and support. Visitation for Tessie will be held on Thursday, November 12th at 10am until the time of Funeral Liturgy at 11am all in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro, with Fr. Dariusz Miskowicz, officiating. Reception will follow. Interment will be held in Robie Street Cemetery, Truro. Donations in Tessie's memory may be made to the Colchester East Hants Hospice Society.
