We, the family of John MacDonald, Dartmouth, formerly of Sydney Mines announce his passing on Nov. 4, 2015 in the QEII Hospital.
He was the son of Thomas and Jenny (Cameron) MacDonald of Sydney Mines.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Marjorie (Burgoyne) of Dartmouth, formerly of Sydney Mines; his daughter, Heather (Charles) Pottle; grandsons, Robert (Selina), David (Megan); granddaughter, Stephanie, all of Dartmouth and his sister, Raylene Kempt, Sydney Mines.
He was predeceased by siblings, Mary, Florence, Lydia, Dan and Cecil.
Cremation has taken place and no service or visitation by request.
