It is with heavy hearts that the family of the late Norman Wheeler announces his passing at the Palliative Care Unit of the Western Memorial Hospital in Corner Brook, NL, on Tuesday November 10, 2015 in his 82nd year. Norman leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Ruby Maxine; daughter Wanda Elizabeth; granddaughter Krista Dawn Mosher; great-grandson Easton in PEI; sisters-in-law Lillian Dinney, Rosie (Bill) Perry, Linda (Cort) Oake, Donna (Chris) Hancock, and Bertha Legge; brothers-in-law Ken (Eileen) Legge, Gordan (Salome) Legge, and a large circle of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Norman also leaves to mourn his loving pet and companion Shyla. Norman was predeceased by his parents Titus and Mary Eliza; brothers Alonzo, Hubert, Harry, Reg, Maxwell, Almo, Kenneth, and Baby Wheeler; sisters Ruby Willis, and Irene Ralph; brothers-in-law June (Ruth) Legge, and John Legge. Family will be receiving family and friends at Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel on Wednesday, November 11th, 2015, from the hours of 7-9 pm, and continuing on Thursday, November 12th, 2015, 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The Funeral Service will take place at St. Michaels and All Angels Anglican Church in Deer Lake on Friday, November 13th, 2015, at 2:30 pm. with Rev. Paulette Bugden officiating, with the burial to take place at the Anglican Section of the Interdenominational Cemetery on Wight's Road in Deer Lake.
