Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Wednesday, November 11, 2015, Janie Bishop of Blackhead, age 95 years. Predeceased by husband: Ernest; daughter-in-law: Judy; parents: John and Eliza Reid; step-mother: Hannah; sisters: Nellie, Ella and Gertie; brothers: Eric, Harvey and George. Leaving to mourn, one daughter: Marie Oakley; three sons: John, Guy (Peg Hoskins) and Emrys (Edith); ten grandchildren: Jason (Meghan), Chad (Elaine), Gary, Karen (Wayne), Kellie (Steve), Danielle (Chad), Tara (Jeff), Scott (Judy), Reid (Renee) and Mark; thirteen great-grandchildren; sisters: Olive Mallan, Beryl Clarke, Phyllis Mizner and Joyce Miller; very special caregiver: Paul Butt; also a large number of other relatives and friends.
