GREGG, WILLIAM DAVID
It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of William David Gregg which occurred at St. Joseph’s Hospital on Friday, November 13th, 2015.

Born 1938, in Saint John, he was the son of the late Louisa (Cruickshank) and William Henry Gregg. David worked as an Insulator with Local 131 Heat and Frost Insulators Union and was a Charter Member holding various positions. David was also a Superintendent with many different companies throughout the province. He was involved with Hatheway Trust and helped to restore the Lily Lake Pavilion and built Grampy’s Restaurant at Victoria Beach.

David is survived by his loving wife Marjorie (Montague) of 60 years; sons Gary (Mary Clair) of Saint John, Stephen (Suzanne) of Fredericton; daughters Brenda Bacon (William) of Rothesay, Susan Gregg of Saint John; sisters Dorothy Claussen and Donna Thomas both of Saint John; grandchildren Cheryl, Lori, Rebecca, Melanie, Geoffrey, Matthew, Alec and Elizabeth; great-grandchildren Kristin and Sadi; step-great-grandchildren Taylor, Meredith, and Colby; his beloved cat Joy; as well as several nieces, nephews and friends.

Besides his parents, David was predeceased by his brother Charles and three step-brothers.

Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visitation being held on Monday, November 16th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. A Memorial Service will take place from the Fundy Funeral Home chapel on Tuesday, November 17th at 10 a.m. followed by an interment at St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Donations in memory of David may be made to the SPCA-Animal Rescue, Parkinsons Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick, Diabetes Association or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
