June Butler, 76, of Sydney passed away at home on Friday, Nov. 13, 2015.
Born in New Waterford, she was the daughter of the late James and Alice (Wagner) Duguid.
She is survived by her daughters, Diane (Herb) Oldham and Cheryl (John) Reid; sons, Robert and John (Debbie), all of Sydney; sister Alice Benvie, Sydney; brother James Duguid, New Waterford; grandchildren, Jason, Shannon, Courtney, Jordan, Elizabeth, B.J., Christopher, Evan; great-grandchildren, Emily, Carter, John Avery, Skylar, Anthony, Jessica and Samantha.
June was predeceased by her husband Robert, daughter Arlene, grandson Shaine and several brothers and sisters.
Visitation will take place Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2015, in Sydney Memorial Chapel from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in the chapel with Rev. Robert Lyle officiating. Interment will take place at a later date.
Memorials may be made to the Lung Association.
