CHAISSON, THERESA MARINA
It is with great sadness the family announce the death of Theresa Marina Chaisson of Saint John, who passed away at Bobby’s Hospice, surrounded by her family on Saturday, November 14, 2015. Born February 5th 1947 in Saint John, the daughter of the late Amos and Marie (LeBlanc) Chaisson.
Theresa was a Medical Secretary and worked for the IWK in Halifax for many years, retiring in 2008. She also worked for some time for Horizon Health.
Theresa is survived by her brothers Louis Chaisson (Margaret) and Frederick Chaisson (Betty); sisters Cylvia Harris, Margaret McCormick (David) and Emma Titus; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and many friends.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by sisters; Cecelia Marr, Rita Doucette and Anita McCaskill brothers; Edward Chaisson and baby Joseph Frederick Chaisson in infancy.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). By request there will be no visitation. A funeral mass will be held from Stella Maris Catholic Church, Bayside Drive on Thursday November 19, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
