Albert J. Duguay, 101, of Gorveatte Street, Dieppe, passed away on Sunday November 15, 2015 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont UHC following a brief illness. Born June 1, 1914 in Shippagan, he was the son of the late Maurice and Flavie (Duguay) Duguay.
He was retired from Canadian Liquid Air and was also a veteran of WWII having served overseas.
He is survived by four children: Alice Long (late James), Diane Hébert (Charles), Sylvia Surette (Donald), and Lucille Leger (Herb); eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
His wife, Greta née Arsenault predeceased him, and he was the last survivor of his immediate family.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) from where the funeral will be celebrated on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at 11 am. Visiting hours are Thursday from 9 am until time of funeral. Veterans will hold a service of remembrance at 10:45 am. A reception will follow at the centre. Interment will be in Adamsville.
