Passed peacefully away into eternal life with God on November 15, 2015, Pearl Oakley, age 91 years. Predeceased by her loving husband Frazer (2001), her sister and their husbands, Mable (Bob) and Myra (Mark), and her brothers, George and Willis. She leaves to mourn her son, Wayne (Myrna), daughter, Doreen (Nick), grandchildren, Sharada (Neil), Shauna (Alan), Aaron, and Rachel (Tim), great-grandchildren, Kami, Mariella, Liam, Bailey and Mackenzie. Also her sisters Phyllis (Lloyd), Ruby (George) her sisters-in-law, Marcella and Eileen and a large number of nieces and nephews. Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Rd. Visitation to take place on Tuesday, November 24 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm and on Wednesday, November 25, from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral service to take place from the Salvation Army Citadel, 25 Adams Ave, on Thursday, November 26 at 2 pm. Interment to follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Blackmarsh Rd. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Salvation Army, 25 Adams Ave, St John's NL A1C 4Z1 to be forwarded to the Home of Joy, Uganda, a home for physically disabled children.
