Merrill Benjamin Pearce Burton passed away peacefully on November 11, 2015 with his partner Christopher Connors and niece Judy Myles Murphy by his side. He will be forever loved and remembered by his longtime partner Christopher Connors, his siblings Gerald Burton (Mavis), Walter Burton (Eleanor), Willette Myles (Steve), Yvonne Payne (Luke), Gloria Hunt (Andrew) and very close friend Laura Raffan. He will also be sadly missed and forever loved by his great-niece Sarah Jane Murphy and great-nephew James Murphy as well as other numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a large circle of close friends. He is predeceased by his father George and mother Jane (Knee) and brother Harold, brother Wilson, sister Bernice, sisters-in-law Marjorie Burton and Star Attwood and nephews Roy Attwood, Rusty Attwood, Roger Payne and Grant Burton. A Celebration of Life with close friends and family will be held on December 5, 2015 at his home in Toronto, Ontario.
