BRIGGS, ELSIE
Elsie Jean Briggs of Hartland passed away on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at the Upper River Valley Hospital in Waterville. She was born January 11, 1926 and was the daughter of the late James and Minnie Miller.
She was predeceased by her husband Edwin Briggs; siblings, Florence, Thelma, Goldie, Arthur, James, Roy, Gordon, Hedley, Charles and Miles; son-in-law James Brown.
Elsie is survived by her children; James Briggs of Rolling Dam, NB, Jocelyn Brown of Whitecourt, AB; grandchildren Jamie (Linda) Briggs, Scott (Amber Yates) Briggs, Krista (Warren) Wilson, Krystal (Darren) Mork, Shane (Cory Cook) Brown; great-grandchildren, Conrad, Jacob, Kailea, Tyson, DeLana, Ethan, Luke and Olivia; several nieces and nephews.
Resting at the Britton Funeral Home, 2 High Street, Hartland with visiting hours on Friday from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. from the Lorne Britton Memorial Chapel in Hartland with Pastor Marc Doiron officiating. Interment will be in the Greenwood Cemetery.
