It is with heavy hearts that the families of Steadman Alexander Reid announce his sudden passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, NL, on Tuesday, November 17th, 2015, at the age of 74. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife: Wavey nee Smith of 56 years marriage, his children: Richard (Diane), Sharon (Mike), Christopher (Cannis), & Michele (Shawn), his 13 grandchildren, & 9 great grandchildren, his siblings: Marion (George), Don (Cora), Larry (Mary), Ella (Gerry), Dave (Minnie), Lorna (Bibbs), Karen (Clarence), & Sandra (Shawn), his sisters & brother-in-law: Ada, Joyce, & Carl (Gloria), Steadman was predeceased by his son: Jim, parents: Sandy & Florence, sisters: Effie, & Hazel, his in-laws: Ishnael & Melora Smith, Rex, Calvin, Bern, Bob, Noel, Nick, Pauline, & Betty. Also leaving to mourn a large circle of extended family & friends. In keeping with Steadman wishes cremation has taken place. The family will be receiving family & friends at Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake, NL, on Thursday, November 19th, 2015, from the hours of 7-9 pm, where also a Memorial service will take place from on Friday November 20th, 2015, at 2:30 pm, with Rev: Paulette Bugden officiating.
