MINTERN, WILLIAM "BILL" MICHAEL
The sudden passing of William “Bill” Michael Mintern, husband of Marina (Landry), occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Monday, November 16th, 2015. He was the son of the late Minnie (Hayman) Mintern and William Michael Mintern. William recently celebrated his 78th Birthday on November 11TH.
He is survived by his son; Bill (Wanda) Mintern of Quispamsis, N.B. and their children; Matthew and Melissa. He is also survived by his sisters; Helen Saunders of Penticton, B.C. and Nancy (Wayne) MacFarlane of Charlottetown, PEI. William is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, William is predeceased by his brother, Robert (Bobby) Mintern and sister, Catherine (Joe) Stewart.
William truly dedicated his life towards his faith, being a loving husband, father and grandfather.
He was self-employed as a very creative and talented Bricklayer. Still working up until the age of 77.
He was a member of the BAC Local 8 New Brunswick. Among all of this, he shared a deep love of animals and watching older movies.
Funeral Arrangements are in the care of the Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). There will be no formal visitation or funeral service at this time. A private family interment will take place at a later date.
In memory of William, charitable donations may be placed towards the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the donor’s choice.
