It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Veronica Arlene Wong (Clarke), better known to her family and friends as Arlene, on November 17, 2015, at the Aberdeen Hospital, at the age of 77. She was predeceased by her parents Marion (McCaskill) and John Clarke, and her husband Henry Wong.

She is survived by her son Timothy Clarke (Mary Anne), Saint John, NB; daughters, Angela Anderson (Robin), New Glasgow; Heather Wong (James MacLean), Westville. Along with her children, she had several step-children. Arlene is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all whom she loved dearly.

She is survived by brothers John Clarke (Regina), David Clarke (Linda), Ronald Clarke (Sandra), and nieces and nephews, all of Saint John, NB.

Arlene’s family would like to thank the staff of the Aberdeen Hospital, especially of the fourth floor and the Palliative Care Unit, and Dr. Farrell.

A special thank you to Kim Slack, Enterostomal Therapy Nursing Consultant, she has been there for our Mother every step of the way as a professional and a dear friend.

The family will receive visitors at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville on Saturday from 1-4 p.m. A memorial service will be held at Fundy Funeral Home, Saint John, NB, at a later date.
