Passed peacefully away at the Palliative Care Unit of the Dr. Leonard A. Miller Centre on Wednesday, November 18, 2015, in the presence of her loving family, after a very courageous battle with cancer, at age 50. Left with fond and loving memories are her husband Glen; daughter, pride and joy, Olivia; parents Wilson and Patsy Blake; brother Paul and children Noah and Nicholas and their mother Julia; grandmother Nellie Burry; parents-in-law Majors John and Gail Norton; brother-in-law John (Allison) and children Katie and Paul; sisters-in-law: Miriam (Dave) Mills and children Teagan and Kinley; and Amanda (Chad) Chubey; also a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl, on Friday, November 20th, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Visitation will resume then at Stacey's Funeral Home at Gander on Saturday, November 21st, from 7-9 pm; and Sunday, November 22nd, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be from the Salvation Army Citadel, Gander, on Monday, November 23rd, at 2 pm. Interment to follow at All Saints Cemetery.
