At the Kings County Memorial Hospital, the passing of Earl Patrick Decoursey, age 88, of Montague, devoted husband of the Late Noelle Anne (Holland) Decoursey, occurred on Wednesday, November 18, 2015, with family by his side.
Born in Lowell, Massachusetts on August 24, 1927, he was the son of the late Leo and Elmira (Sanderson) Decoursey. Earl is survived by children: Earla (Sandy Hartsgrove) Decoursey of Ontario, Eric; (Nicole) Decoursey of Cardigan; cherished grandchildren, Liam and Myla Decoursey; brothers and sisters, Kenneth Decoursey (Eleanor deceased), Theresa Gallant (Arthur deceased), Sr. Mary Decoursey, Leona (Preston) MacDearmid, Emmett (Bernice) Decoursey, Margaret O'Brien (George deceased); sister-in-law, Marlene Sanderson (Cletus Decoursey deceased); numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by infant children, Leo Francis, Donna Jean; brothers, Cletus and Theophane (Pauline).
Resting at Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home with visiting on Friday, November 20, from 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass to be celebrated on Saturday, November 21, from All Saints Catholic Church, Cardigan at 11 a.m. Interment to take place in the parish cemetery.
