Skaling-Hull, Charlotte
(1917-2015)
Charlotte Gilliland-Skaling-Hull passed away on November 19th at Pine Grove Nursing Home in Fredericton, New Brunswick.
Charlotte had two great loves in life. She was married to highly decorated WWII and Korean War veteran Capt. Gordon Skaling (d. 1994) for sixty years. In the 1940’s they had three sons, Arthur, Daniel and Peter. In later life, Charlotte married the kindest man in the world, Wendall Hull (d. 2004).
She is survived by her oldest son Arthur and grandchildren Heather, Jennifer, Stacey, Wendi, Andrew, Stephanie, Gordon and Megan and great grand-children Julia and Christian and a much wider cherished family in New Brunswick and beyond.
The Celebration of the Life of Charlotte will take place with a service at the Anglican Parish of St. Peter in Fredericton on Monday November 23, 2015 at 11:00 am with Rev. Dr. Ross Hebb officiating. Interment will take place in the spring.
Donations in Charlotte’s name to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Alzheimer’s society are appreciated.
