SIEVERT, Paul Norman – Dartmouth, age 79 years died November 12, 2015 at Dartmouth General Hospital. Born in Dartmouth on December 17, 1935 he was a son of the late Julius and Lillian (Manley) Sievert. He started work with the Canadian Coast Guard and served 6 years. He then joined Woodlawn Dairy as a milkman until 1968, then moved to Amherst to work at Scotsburn Dairy until 1992 returning to Dartmouth in 1998. He was an avid bowler and had a great sense of humour. He was a great storyteller and we heard lots of his stories many times. He is survived by his wife of 59 years the former Carol Anne Stevenson, four children Joan (Brian) Weatherbee, Dartmouth, Paul, Halifax, Valerie (Larry) Steele, Beaverbank, Shelley (Bob) Ryall, Oshawa, ON. Ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren. A sister Joan Graves, BC. Besides his parents he was predeceased by sisters Snookie, Carol and Julie. Visitation was held on Sunday November 15, 2015.
