CAMPBELL, JOAN MILTON
Joan M. Campbell, 86, of the Drew Nursing Home, Sackville, and formerly of York St., Moncton, passed away peacefully at her residence on Friday, November 20, 2015. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late William and Amy (Ferguson) Weir.
Joan was retired from the Canada Employment Centre and attended Mount Royal United Church. She was a member of the Fidelity Chapter #36 O.E.S. Riverview.
Joan will be sadly missed by her daughter, Vicki Ellis (Wendell) of Hartland; sons, Stephen (Nancy) of Halifax, NS, Alan of Moncton, David (Colleen) of Saint John and Michael (Julia) of Port Elgin; grandchildren, JoAnn, Christopher, Lexi, Izzie, Tyson, Connor, Holly, MacKenzie, Tomas, Rebecca; great-granddaughter, Haylee; sister-in-law, Joyce Weir; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Albert E. Campbell (July 2008); brothers, John and Robert; sister, Isobel Wilkins.
Visitation at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Fidelity Chapter #36 O.E.S. Memorial Service on Tuesday at 12:45 pm at Fergusons Funeral Home. A Service to celebrate Joan’s life will be held at Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at 1:00 pm. Reception in the Funeral Home Reception Centre following the service. Interment will be in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens.
