Donald Bastarache, 68, of Foyer Joe Collette, Bouctouche, passed away peacefully at the Stella Maris de Kent Hospital, Sainte-Anne-de-Kent on Saturday, November 21, 2015. Born in Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, he was the son of the late Ovila and the late Edmée (Bastarache) Bastarache.
He will be sadly missed by his four sisters; Rita Cormier of Saint-Antoine, Noella Landry (Néri), Angèla Melanson (Valmond) of Bouctouche, Ovilina Léger of Sainte-Anne-de-Kent, two brothers; Elias and Léo of Bouctouche and several nephews and nieces.
He was predeceased by one sister Dorine.
Visitations will be held at Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l’église, Bouctouche on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 from 2 to 3:45 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at the Saint-Jean Baptiste Church Bouctouche on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at 4:00 pm with interment in the parish cemetery.
In Donald’s memory donations may be made to the family.
