McCASHION, JOHN BARRY
John B. McCashion of Smithfield, NB passed away November 22, 2015 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. John was born in 1950 at Fredericton, NB, a son of the late Arthur and Margaret (McCaughey) McCashion. He was employed for many years at Woolastook Park and Mactaquac Provincial Park.
John is survived by three brothers, Robert McCashion, Smithfield, NB, Thomas McCashion, Grand Bay-Westfield, NB and Edward McCashion, Fredericton, NB; two sisters, Mary Sveinson (Ronald) and Agnes McCashion, both of Langley, BC; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Patrick and a sister, Margaret Ann.
Visiting hours will be held at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 415 Route 3, Newmarket, NB on Thursday morning, November 26, 2015 from 9 to 11 am. Funeral service will be held at 11 am with Father Godwin Kalu officiating. Interment in St. Patrick’s Cemetery (New Extension).
For those who wish to make a donation in memory of John, the family has suggested St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery or charity of the donor’s choice.
