Passed away suddenly on Friday, November 20, 2015, Thomas Whalen of St. Thomas Line, aged 64. Predeceased by his ex-wife Gwendolyn Harvey, his parents Paul and Eileen Whalen, and his brothers Leo (Sandra), Paul, Gerard, Pat, and Loyola, brother in law Bert Eddy and nephew Scott Whalen. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his two loving daughters, Tammy (Derrick), Tracey (Tony), grandchildren Philishia and Matthew, all residing in Alberta. His sisters Mary Eddy (Bert), Lorraine (Mike), Linda Whalen, his brothers Jim (ex-wife Kay), John (Lorraine), Leonard (Florence), and brother in law Randy Squires (Christine). All nephews, nieces and a circle of family and friends including Mike Whalen, Vince Lawlor, Randy Lawlor and Ambrose Lawlor. Special thanks to friends and staff of Canning's Personal Care Home, especially Margie Jones, who he had a special relationship with which we are grateful. Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Wednesday, November 25 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral mass will be held at Holy Family Parish, St. Thomas Line, on Thursday, November 26 at 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be given to a charity of one's choice.
