ARLENE MACKINNON

Card of Thanks
Sister Arlene MacKinnon
We, the family of Sister Arlene MacKinnon would like to extend our deepest appreciation for the care, kindness and dedication of those who were with her during her illness. We send our deepest gratitude to Dr. White, Hematologist, his excellent staff and the Oncology Dept. at the Victoria General Hospital in Halifax and to Dr. Booth, Dr. MacKenzie and the Palliative Care and Oncology staffs of the St. Martha’s Hospital in Antigonish for their understanding and comforting care. To the excellent nursing and support staff at Bethany who could not do enough for Sister Arlene, our heartfelt thanks. Many thanks to those who offered prayers and condolences, memorial donations, Mass cards, delivered food and travelled to Antigonish to support us and share in our grief. Thank you to MacIsaac Funeral Home, pallbearers and those who participated in the beautiful service for Sister Arlene. Mass celebrants, Fr. Gerard MacInnis, Fr. Leo Cordeau and assisting priest, our sincere thanks. Our eternal gratitude to Arlene’s family, the Sisters of St. Martha, for the endless compassion, love and support given to her, and the wonderful love and hospitality they have extended to our family during this difficult time. Arlene was spiritual, kind and always giving of herself. We mourn her passing and we are better people because of who she was. God Bless all who by word or deed helped to ease our sorrow.
The MacKinnon Family
