Passed away peacefully and surrounded by her loving family, on Tuesday November 24th at approximately 1 pm, Rose Pike of St. John's, at the age of 88 years. Leaving to mourn her daughter Desiree, son Marc (Shannon), grandchildren Shara (Dave), Gina (Brian), Benjamin and Georgia, great-grandson Preston, sister Marina (John), sisters-in-law Ruby, Maxine, Daphne and Doreen and brother-in-law Bill, as well as a large number of nieces and nephews and friends. Predeceased by her father Samuel, mother Louise, husband of 56 years Colin, sisters Constance and Ruth, brother John, brothers-in-law, Frank, Ted, Arthur and Ron and sisters-in-law Dorothy and Doris and her dearly loved and always cherished infant son Rodney. A special thanks goes out to her neighbors who became extended family after Colin passed away. And so at the risk of missing someone; thanks to Janet, Chuck, Julia, Wynn, Jackie, Rhonda, Rob, Nick, Daphne, June, Maryann, Eileen and to Carly, who was Rose's care giver for the last seven months and Gary who maintained her treasured garden and property. In lieu of a funeral service, the family will welcome visitors to share a memory at 37 Warren Place, Saturday November 28th from 1-5 pm and 7-11 pm. Rose will be cremated and her remains joined with Colin.
