Entered into eternal life at McAuley Convent, on November 25, 2015, Sister Mary Columba Hartery, age 93 years. Predeceased by her parents William and Catherine (O'Brien) Hartery, sisters Agnes (Raymond), Kathleen (Gerald), Georgina, Annie (Jim), and brothers, John and Frank (Marie). She will be fondly remembered by her Religious Congregation, the Sisters of Mercy, sister Margaret (John Dermott d.) Crockwell, nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends. Waking at McAuley Convent, 250 Waterford Bridge Road, St. John's, beginning Thursday, November 26, 7-9 p.m., Friday, November 27, 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, November 28, at 9:30 a.m. at Corpus Christi Parish Church, with internment to follow at the Sisters of Mercy plot in Belvedere Cemetery. May she rest in peace.
