It is with sadness that the family of Annie Wight announces her passing. Annie was born in Northwest Brook on January 14, 1922 and passed away at the Western Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, November 25, 2015. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband Milton; children: Guy (Marie) Wight, Barbara Jean (Wilbert) King, Gail (Alex) Hoyles, Judy Jeffries, Arlene (John) Young and Arliss (Judy) Wight; 12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson; sisters: Frances Cull and Julia Paul; brothers and sisters-in-law: Don Gentry, Bernie Baker, Ross (Shirley) Wight, Lily Howse, Pearl (Sam) King, Bill (Mary) Wight, Lily Wight, Karen Huxter and Leah Wight; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Moses and Suzannah Baker, two infant daughters, parents-in-law George and Lydia Wight, sisters Lucy Coish, Doris Cassell, Vida White and Ena Gentry, brothers Robert Baker, Nicholas Baker, George Baker and Edmund Baker, sisters and brothers-in-law Marjorie Baker, Mae Baker, Clayton Coish, Norman Cull, Malcolm Cassell, Ronald Paul, Muriel Baker, Ralph (Doris) Wight, Ray Wight, Mildred (John) Barnes, Harry Howse, George Wight and David Wight. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 10 Clinic Drive, Deer Lake on Saturday from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 29 at 2:30 p.m. from The Salvation Army Citadel, Deer Lake with Majors Wayne and Betty Ann Pike officiating. Interment to follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery, High Street. By request of Annie, no flowers please. The family guest book may be signed by visiting www.fillatre.ca.
