Passed peacefully away in the presence of his loving family at St. Pat's Mercy Home on Friday, November 27th, 2015, Joseph Francis McGrath, age 83 years. Predeceased by his loving wife Catherine; parents George and Ellen McGrath; in-laws William and Anne Hawco. Left to honor his memory are his sons and daughters: Rose, Christine (Wayne), Angela, Madeline, Joey (Sis), Gerard (Sharon), Ray (Shirley), Kevin, Patrick, Dwayne (Jessica); also left to mourn 15 grandchildren and special great-grandchildren Nathan, Kaleigh, Christopher, Amber, Isabelle, Jayse, Harvey, as well special friends Michael and Gale Singleton and Dick and Debbie Dunphy, "Best Buddy" Wayne Stoyles, a large circle of family and friends on the Cape Shore. Special thanks to all the staff and residents at St. Pat's Mercy Home for their care throughout his years. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Saturday and Sunday from 2-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial to be held at The Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Parish, St. Joseph's, NL on Monday, November 30, 2015 at 11:30 a.m. Interment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, O'Donnell's, NL.
