BUSTIN, RONALD HERMAN
September 26, 1940 - November 28, 2015
Ronald Bustin passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family at The Moncton Hospital on Saturday, November 28, 2015 at the age of 75. Born in Penobsquis on September 26, 1940, he was the son of the late William and Nellie (Murray) Bustin, however Ron was raised by his maternal grandparents, Walter and Alberta (McQuinn) Murray.
Ron is survived by Diane MacDonald his loving wife of 49 years, his daughter, Tracey (Steven) Campbell, of Moncton; son, Terry, of Toronto; grandson, Kyle (Natasha Marshall) Campbell, of Airdrie, Alberta; two great-granddaughters, Mya Campbell, of Miramichi, Summer Campbell, of Alberta; two step great-grandsons, Xavier, of Moncton, Landen, of Alberta; brother, Ken (Paula) Cameron, of Moncton; sister-in-law, Donna Bustin, of Penobsquis; nephews, Todd and Tim Cameron, Bill, Don and Mark Bustin and niece Sheila Hawthorne, as well as his aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In addition to his parents, Ron was predeceased by brothers, Donald and Dale Bustin of Penobsquis.
Ron was a mechanic and Shop Foreman at Lounsbury Truck Division for 39 years and Caledonia Waste-Oil & Tank Wash for ten years. He liked fishing, hunting, four wheeling and he could fix anything. He loved being from Penobsquis. Diane and Ron enjoyed their time traveling visiting Europe, and Hawaii, also going on Bus Trips and Cruises. Above all Ron loved his family, especially spending time with his grandchildren.
The family would like to Thank the staff of the Emergency and 5100 Unit at The Moncton Hospital for their care and compassion.
A Celebration of Life service will be held in the Garden View Reception Room at Fair Haven Funeral Home on Thursday, December 3, 2015 from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm.
If desired, donations to The Friends of The Moncton Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
