PEARSON, PATRICIA
Patricia Garda Pearson, 78, of Sussex and formerly of Highfield, passed away at the Sussex Health Centre on December 1, 2015. Born in Codys, she was a daughter of the late Earle Roy and Margaret (nee Perry) Ellison.
Patricia is survived by her children: Douglas Pearson (Debbie) of Ottawa, Paul Pearson (Helen) of Searsville, Christine Sharp (Bill) of Norton, Anthony Pearson (Donna) of Dartmouth, Pamela Fisch (Tim) of Williams Lake, BC, Wendy Pearson of Woodstock, and Wiley Pearson (Pam) of Sussex; her 14 grandchildren including Terri Pearson (Wade) and Sarah Pearson-MacDonald (Cory); her 17 great-grandchildren; her brother Roderick Ellison (Evelyn) of Burlington, ON; her sister Earlene Reeves of Branford, ON; as well as by many extended family members and friends.
Besides her parents, Patricia was predeceased by her husband Melvin Pearson in 2003, and her brothers: Dawson and Terrence.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the professional care of Sussex Select Community Funeral Home, 21 Aiton Road, Sussex, from where visitation will be held on Friday December 4, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. The funeral service will be held on Saturday December 5, 2015 at 11:00 am in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Thomas Stradwick presiding. Interment will be held in the St. John’s Anglican Church Cemetery in Highfield.
