It is with great sadness that the family of the late Arlene Kearney announce her sudden passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital on Tuesday December 1st, 2015 at the age of 57 years. Arlene had a long career working as an LPN at the Bay St. George Long Term Care Centre where she touched the lives of many people. She will be sadly missed and deeply mourned by her two daughters; Melanie Alexander (Cory Park) in Corner Brook, and Susan Alexander and her beloved and cherished Grandson Bailey. She also leaves with fond memories her brothers: Wayne Ryan (Sharon Colombe), Brian Kearney, Fintan Kearney (Patricia) and family, her sisters; Janice Kearney (Ron Alexander) and Ethel Murray (John) and family in Bay Roberts, special nieces Lori Kearney (Adam Wells) and their children Riley, Chloe and Kaitlyn in Corner Brook, Candice Renouf (JR Carter) and their son Elliott in Pasadena, Crystal Kearney (Jamie Lasaga) and their children Madison and Trent, nephew Fintan Kearney Jr (Kelsey White). Also survived by the father to her children Clarence Alexander and family along with many other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents William and Mildred Kearney. Funeral services will take place on Friday, December 4th at 2 pm from St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church in St. Georges with inurnment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Shallop Cove. Friends may call at St. Joseph's Church on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Bay St. George Sick Children's Foundation.
