The death occurred suddenly at his home in Newtown Cross on December 2, 2015 of Kenneth Joseph Morrissey, in his 80th year.
Survived by his wife Peggy (Reid), daughter Lynn (Rollie), and son Jason (Melissa). Remembered by his one beloved grandchild, Chelsey, who was so dear to him. Survived by sisters, Bernadette VanOmme, Esther (Jim) Dobson, Eileen (Ronald) Cameron and brothers, Walter (Arlene) and Brendon (Marlin). Predeceased by his wife, Muriel, the mother of his children; brothers, Jimmy and Julian.
Ken will be remembered as a kind, caring man who was always there to lend a helping hand, so good natured and easy to talk to. He will be missed by his wife, family, grandchild, and step-children, who loved him. Ken, we loved you then, love you now, and will forever. From your wife, our saying, "I love you to the moon and back and beyond". I am lost without you, my husband, my friend, my everything.
Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, Stratford for visitation on Monday, December 7 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral mass from St. Michael's Parish, Iona on Tuesday, December 8 at 11 a.m. Interment in the church cemetery.
