The death occurred suddenly at Christophers Cross as a result of a car accident on Monday, December 7, 2015, of Diane M. Arsenault of Palmer Road aged 59 years. Companion of Bruce Buote, Tignish. She was born in Alberton on May 10, 1956, the daughter of the late Henry and Elsie (nee Bernard) McCallum. Dear mother to Tracy Arsenault (David), Tignish, Melissa Arsenault (Chris), Palmer Road, and Travis Arsenault, Palmer Road. Loving grandmother to Nash Arsenault. She is survived by Tracy’s stepson Dexter. She is also survived by brothers and sisters Bryan McCallum (Sue), Summerside, Melinda Dugay (Ivan), St. Peter & St. Paul, Anita McCallum, Alberton, Margaret Wedge (Blair), Christophers Cross, Sidney McCallum (Angela), Charlottetown and Larry McCallum, Toronto. She was predeceased by parents Henry and Elsie and a brother Terry. Resting at the West Prince Funeral Home, 522 Thompson Road, for visiting hours Wednesday 6-9 p.m. only. Funeral will be held Thursday, Dec. 10, at St. Simon & St. Jude Church, Tignish, with funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Celebrant Rev. Brendon Gallant.
