Margaret was born to John and Elizabeth Parrill on Aug. 7, 1922 in Pines Cove. She moved to Eddies Cove East at a young age. She met the love of her life, John Ross, and together they had five children. Margaret Edgeley Manuel of St. Anthony passed away peacefully on November 20, 2015 at Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony. She leaves to mourn her sons Colin (Donna), Gary, Boyd (Marilyn), and Shawn (Mary); daughter Madonna (Ernest); grandchildren Lana, Chad, Kent, Brad, Ryan, Matthew, Jamie, Sarah, Justin, Demetre, Brenden, and Isabella; 11 great-grandchildren; brother John Parrill along with several nieces and nephews and a large circle of other family and friends. Margaret was predeceased by her husband, John Ross, mother and father Elizabeth and John Parrill, sisters Virge, Bessy, Liza, Goldie, and brothers Albert, and Darius (Roy). Visitation was held at Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Home in St. Anthony. The funeral took place at the St. Mary's Anglican Church in St. Anthony at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 24 with Fr. Paul Findlay officiating. Burial followed in the New Anglican Cemetery in St. Anthony. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry.
