SAINT-LOUIS-DE-KENT, NB – Jeannette Vautour, 74, of Foyer Bois Joli, St-Louis, passed away peacefully after a brief illness at the Dr.-George-L.-Dumont University Hospital, Moncton, on Wednesday, December 23rd, 2015. Born in Acadieville, NB, she was the daughter of the late Urbain and Marthe (Robichaud) Vautour. A woman of strong faith, Jeannette attended St-Louis-des-Francais Church.
Jeannette will be sadly missed by her loving husband, Aurèle; her three daughters, Anise Vautour (Guy Belley) of Laval, QC, Annette LeBlanc (Raymond) of Aldouane and Odette Johnson (John) of St-Louis, her four grand children, Mélanie (Gilles), Mathieu, Maxime and Alexandre; her three brothers, Ovila of St-Louis, Marcel (Andrée) of Grand-Mère, QC and Edmond (Annette) of St-Charles.
Jeanette will also be missed by her brother-in-law Alphonse Richard (late Mina), her many nieces and nephews, as well as by her many good friends.
Besides her parents, Jeannette is predeceased by her five sisters, Victoire (late Denis), Priscille, Catherine, Rita and Mina; her four brothers, Joseph, Laurent, Antoine and Gérard; and her adopted brother, Emerie Richard.
Visitation will be held at Thompson’s Memorial Home, St-Louis, on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00pm and Monday from 12:00pm until departure for the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated by Father Robert Savoie Monday, December 28th, 2015 at 2:00pm, at St-Louis-des-Francais Roman Catholic Church, St-Louis. Donations to the Canadian Lung Association or to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements are in care of Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252)
