It is with heavy hearts and great sadness we announce the passing of Kimberly Anne Crane, 55, on Monday, Dec. 21, 2015, at home after a brief illness.
Born in Whitney Pier, Kimmie was the daughter of Judy (Mingerelli) and the late Joseph Crane.
Kimmie worked various jobs before finding her passion working at Touch on Wood. She loved crafts especially, needle point. Kimmie will be missed by all who knew her.
Kimmie is survived by her sons, Brandon, Ottawa and Garrett, Sydney; daughter, Ainslie Hill, Sydney; siblings, Art (Eileen) Crane, Lindsey (Yuko) Crane and Gina (Bruce) Crane-Wilson; nephews, Daniel, Liam, Koki, Nathan and nieces, Morgan, Abbie, Miku, Sarah and Chloe. She is also survived by stepsister, Gina (Jim Feednen) Spagnoletti; lifelong special friend, Karen Andrea-Crocker; loving boyfriend, Kevin Neville and his son, Jayce.
Visitation for the late Kimberly Anne Crane will be held at Pier Community Funeral Home, 1092 Victoria Rd., Sydney, on Monday, Dec. 28, 2015, from 5-8 p.m. Memorial service to celebrate the life of Kimberly Anne Crane will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 29, at 10 a.m. in the Pier Community Funeral Home, All Faith Chapel, with Rev. Thomas Whent officiating. Light refreshments will be served in the reception area. A private family burial will take place in Hardwood Hill Cemetery, Sydney at a later date.
