Charlotte Rosmond SORENSON
January 31, 1923 – December 23, 2015
Charlotte Rosmond Sorenson of Christopher Lake, SK at the age of 92 passed away at the Victoria Hospital in Prince Albert, SK of natural causes. She was born on January 31, 1923 to Charles James Henry Wright and Lillian Cora May Wright in Saskatoon, SK. She had four sisters Cora, Edith, Lily and Myrtle and one brother James. Charlotte married her beloved husband Sibert on May 1, 1942. Charlotte worked in the hospitality business for several years. Charlotte and her husband enjoyed curling, shuffleboard, baseball and several activities with their eleven children. Charlotte is survived by ten of her eleven children James (Elaine) of Prince Albert, SK, Carl of Prince Albert, SK, Melvin (Patricia) of Fork Lake, AB, John (Delores) of Lone Rock, SK, Betty of Prince Albert, SK, Sandra Kirchner (Ron) Onoway of Prince Albert, SK, Lloyd of Devon, AB, Patricia Sorenson (Bob) of Lloydminster, SK, May Stewart of Prince Albert, SK and Rick of Christopher Lake, SK; as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mother and father; her beloved husband Sibert in July of 1989; her son Sibert Jr in October of 1996; one grandson James Felix in 2002; as well as all of her siblings. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, December 28, 2015 at St. Christopher’s Anglican Church, Christopher Lake, SK with Reverend Chris Dow officiating. Interment will be held at Christopher Lake Cemetery. In lieu of other tributes, memorial donations can be made to Charity of Donor’s Choice. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.grays.ca.
