BUTLER, RITA M.
Rita Butler of Saint John, NB passed away peacefully on December 26, 2015 at the Turnbull Home. Rita was born on September 11, 1917 in Saint John, NB to the late Edward and Eleanor Babineau.
She is survived by daughter Sue Beale; sons Gerry and Bill (Mary); five grandchildren: Jill, Mark (Kate), Michael (Nancy), Andrew and Cheyanne and 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Josephine (Bernard McHarg), and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas, infant son, Ronald, brother, Jim (late Joan) and sisters Margaret McNulty (late Moses), Mary Arseneau (late Jerome), and Pauline Theorin (late Everett).
Funeral arrangements are under the care of Brenan's Bay View Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John West (634-7425). Honouring Rita’s wishes there will be no visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, December 31 at 12:00 noon at St. Rose of Lima Church, Milford Road, Saint John West, followed by interment in Holy Cross Cemetery.
Rita’s family offers its sincere appreciation to all the staff of the Turnbull Home for the excellent care provided to her while she was residing there.
