At the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Sunday, December 27, 2015, of Jessie Margaret Cole of Spring Valley aged 86 years. Born in Burlington on January 6, 1929, daughter of the late Halsey and Charlotte (Bernard) Profitt. Wife of Charles H. Cole. Mother of Bruce (Sylvia), Darnley and Florida; Norman (Judy), Indian River; Grafton (Susan), Spring Valley; Nancy (Earl) MacLeod, French River; and Glenn, Spring Valley. Grandmother of 18 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter. Sister of Ruth (Tom - deceased) Hannah, Toronto; Clair (Marion) Profitt, Burlington; Irene (Alvin) Bernard, Kensington; and Gerald Profitt, Kensington. Sister-in-law of Brent (Virjene) Cole, Spring Valley, and Dolly Andrews, Kensington. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sons Wyman, Leland, Clarence, Stewart and grandson Joey Cole, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Hilda (Keir) Duggan, Gladys (Elgin) Mill, Myron Cole, Ruby (Johnny) MacLeod and Leamon Cole. Resting at the Davison Funeral Home, Kensington, for visitation on Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. Funeral Thursday in St. Stephen’s Anglican Church at 11 a.m. Interment in the church cemetery.
