Taylor, John Hugh – Age 91, Middle Stewiacke, passed away peacefully at home, on December 26, 2015, with Tina and AJ by his side.
Born in Middle Stewiacke, he was a son of the late George and Henrietta (Fulton) Taylor.
John was an exceptional man and a great neighbour. His generosity and humour will be missed by many.
Surviving are his extended family, Tina and AJ O`Connell; sister-in-law, Pearl Taylor; many nieces and nephews and their families.
He was predeceased by long-time companion, Lena O`Connell. The last surviving member of his immediate family, he was predeceased by sisters, Margaret Miller, Ethel Davidson, Anna Taylor; brothers, Douglas, Rupert, Byard, Arnold.
Cremation has taken place.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, at 2 p.m., in Middle Stewiacke United Church, Rev. Keith Gale officiating. Burial will be in Middle Stewiacke Cemetery. The family will meet friends for a reception downstairs in the church following the burial.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Middle Stewiacke United Church would be appreciated.
